This Privacy Policy sets forth the policies of School-to-School International (STS) for the collection, protection and use of the personal and private information we receive from donors and visitors to this website. These policies may be changed at any time, in which case the revised Privacy Policy will apply to information collected after the date the Privacy Policy is posted. By accessing the Site, you agree that you have read and understand the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy.
PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED
STS collects personal information when voluntarily and knowingly submitted by a visitor. You can have general access to our Site and browse pages describing our organization without providing any personal information or being required to register at our Site. If you choose to subscribe to our newsletters and announcements or make a donation to STS, whether by telephone, postal mail, or this Site, we will collect certain required personal and financial information from you.
Online donations are processed by a third-party service provider and you should read and familiarize yourself with the privacy terms of all such non-STS sites before using
them.
CHILDREN'S ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT (COPPA)
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 ("COPPA"). COPPA requires that web site operators never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without requesting verifiable parental consent.
In accordance with COPPA, we do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. We recommend that no one under the age of 18 submit personally identifiable information to our Site. We will then delete any such personal information from our records.

You may also ask us to remove your name and other personal information from our database, in which case we will make all reasonable efforts to do so, subject to legal and other considerations. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We will post any material changes to this Policy at least thirty (30) days prior to the changes taking effect. After the changes take effect, all current and new information will be subject to the terms of the revised Policy. Your access to or use of the Site following a change to the Policy shall be deemed to be your consent to the revised Policy.
CONSENT TO PROCESSING
Subject to your opt-out choices and all of the provisions contained in this Policy, you hereby consent to the collection, processing and transfer by STS of your personal information for the limited purposes described under this Policy.
