Our Activities in Uganda

In 2006, STS conducted an evaluation of the USAID-funded REPLICA project - an education project designed to re-establish the elementary education system in war-torn northern Uganda. To read the evaluation please follow this link, Evaluation of the REPLICA Project, Uganda, 2007 (English)
In 2007 and 2008, STS designed and implemented a student assessment system for the USAID-funded UNITY project for Creative Associates International.
Children in Grades 2 and 3 were tested in order to measure the effectiveness of the new curriculum. 2,300 students took part in the English-language test in 2007 across the country. In 2008, 5,000 will take part in English and 6 African languages.
