Our Activities in North America
School-to-School International (STS) coordinates a pen pal program that provides students in North America and Guinea, West Africa with the opportunity to exchange letters.
Along with exchanging letters, students in North America organize fundraisers to improve education in Guinea.
- Metropolitan Learning Centre in Portland, OR, hosted a circus and as a result fundraised $2500 to construct a well at their partner school in Guinea.
- Peninsula Preparatory Academy, NY, organized a Donate a Dollar for Clean Water fundraiser to improve access to clean water at their Guinean partner school.
Our pen pal program allows students in Guinea and the North America to have exposure to the wider world.
